In 1987 a new station was constructed to cover the Debordieu Colony, Arcadia and Hobcaw Barony areas just north of Georgetown City. This was done to meet the growing needs of the area and allow us to put units on the scene faster in this most southern area of our fire district.
The Debordieu station is located inside of Debordieu Plantation. The station houses:
Engine 831, 832, Medic 835, Marine 830, and Ed 4.
Daily staffing consists of:
Engine 831
1 Officer, 1 Engineer, 2 Firefighter/EMT or Paramedic
All station 83 units cross-staffed for water rescue
