Technical Rescue Team Prepares For Drill

Today, Midway Fire Rescue and Georgetown County Fire & EMS gathered at Station 5 (Nine Mile Curve) to prepare for the upcoming large scale drill in Georgetown County. The Georgetown County Technical Rescue Team drills at least once a month on various skills at various locations. The crews reviewed various rescue equipment that includes rope and haul systems, shoring systems, hydraulic systems and apparatus familiarization. The crews work hard to prepare for any scenarios that they are faced with on any given day.
