Residential Occupancy Self-Inspection Program
Midway Fire Rescue would like to create a partnership with you in respect to keeping your home “Fire Safe” all year long. We know from experience and data that a majority of the fires in our response district occur in single and multi-family homes. Past experience has also shown that the predominant cause of these fires are accidental in nature, and typically the result of a common fire hazard present in the home. Knowing this, our department has developed a simple tool to assist you in identifying and eliminating these fire hazards. We have also provided simple instructions to allow you to successfully participate in our “Home Fire and Life Safety Self-Inspection Program”.
We offer a Video Overview of the self-inspection program, and the two documents which will guide you to successfully complete a simple, yet critical “Home Fire and Life Safety Self-Inspection” of your home. These documents are provided for your use in an easily downloadable PDF Format.
