This morning at 0630, Midway Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to 1716 Club Circle (River Club) for a reported structure fire. Engine 811 arriving minutes later reported smoke and fire showing from the roof area of a residential structure and all occupants out of the building. Second due Engine 821 took the hydrant and laid a 5” supply line to the structure feeding Engine 811 while Medic 835 made the hydrant connections. Engine 811 officer completed a walk around of the structure reporting a chimney fire with extension into the attic. As other Midway units arrived, the crews stretched multiple lines into the structure and starting knocking down fire in the attic area and performing salvage operations on the floor below.
