Trench Rescue in Pawleys Island

Midway Fire Rescue and members from Georgetown County Technical Rescue Team have successfully removed the patient that was trapped in a trench. The patient is being treated by on-scene medics and transported to local hospital.
We appreciate our regional partners for their response and station fill- in’s. Incident Under Control. Rescue completed by members in just an hour and eight minutes after units arrived on scene.
The patient was transported by helicopter to Grand Strand Trauma Center.
