Egg Drop at LCDS a Success!

On Wednesday, Ladder 831 traveled to Low Country Day School to assit Mr. McGuire's 9th-11th graders, with a Science Project that involved a Egg Drop Experiment. Using only straws, scotch tape, tissue, and rubber bands, the students had to protect an egg from a fall of more than 40 feet. All students were able to protect the eggs from a 40-foot fall, and several students were even able to engineer protection from a fall of 68 feet! The MFR crew worked great with the students and the ladder truck made it even more exciting for the students.
