Conway Fire Department LODD

Following the tragic death of a firefighter in our local area, Midway Fire Rescue reached out to Conway Fire Department providing them support as they mourn the loss of one of their own. During the days following the tragedy, Midway Fire Rescue sent an engine company to cover one of Conway Fire Department's stations for three shifts. Midway Fire was also honored to provide a medic unit to cover for Horry County Fire Rescue for half a shift during the day of the funeral.

This shows the true brotherhood and sisterhood of the fire service as we are all here for each other no matter the situation. Rest in peace Firefighter Chris Ray.
