During the month of May, Midway Fire Rescue will collect stuffed animals for injured and traumatized children.

The department has organized a Teddy bear drive in honor of Emergency Medical Services for Children’s Day, which is May 18, 2016.

Members of the public are asked to donate new stuffed animals, which will be stored on Midway Fire Rescue's Medic Units and used to comfort children during pediatric medical transports or traumatic events. Stuffed animals may be dropped off at any Midway Fire Station at anytime.
