Funeral Details for Battalion Chief Josh Carney
Visitation will be at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, 11528 Highway 17 Bypass, Murrells Inlet on Thursday October 26th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Faith Memorial Church, 113 Baskervill Drive, Pawleys Island on Friday, October 27th at 11:00 a.m.
Parking for Memorial Service: Parking will be quite limited and there will not be a procession from the funeral home to the church so the family respectfully requests, no apparatus.
Midway Fire Rescue is securing offsite parking and will have shuttle vans to transport personnel back and forth to the church starting at 9:00 AM. It will not be in walking distance.
The location and specific instructions for uniformed personnel will come in the near future.

Non-uniformed personnel are also strongly encouraged to use this option as well. Parking is extremely limited at the church.
Starting at 0900 on Friday, Georgetown County EMD will be coordinating a shuttle service that will provide transportation to and from the service from this location and any overflow parking locations as necessary. Emergency Management will have personnel on site to provide any additional directions as needed. Midway Fire Rescue recommend arriving early so everyone is in place well before the 1100 start time.
