This morning, Midway Fire Rescue received news that a Georgetown County Fire/EMS Firefighter lost her home in a fire in the Sandpit area of Georgetown. The home is a total loss.
The family escaped and is safe with no personal injuries.
Firefighter Annie Bowers has been a Georgetown County Fire/EMS firefighter for the past 20 years. We are asking anyone to help this family. The Bower family have two daughters, ages 16 and 17yrs old.
We are waiting on clothing sizes, currently. We will update when the sizes come in the next day or so. We are hoping to get some personal items together for the family with the list below.
The Bowers Family are currently staying warm and with family.
If you can help in anyway, the family would appreciate it.
