Thank You MFF Mercer

Today, we say goodbye to a dedicated and hardworking Master Firefighter Mark Mercer. Master Firefighter Mark Mercer will be staying in Georgetown County just transferring to another department. While we “lose” a dedicated firefighter he will not be far from us to provide great information to pass on to our younger firefighters. Mark Mercer worked on various teams thought the county and state that included the Georgetown County Technical Rescue Team and the Myrtle Beach Regional Hazardous Materials Response Team along with many others. He will still be a big asset to Georgetown County.

We thank Master Firefighter Mark Mercer for his dedicated years with Midway Fire Rescue.
