MFR Crews Standing-By at Night of a Thousand Candles
For the next few weeks, Midway Fire Rescue will have crews standing by at Brookgreen Gardens for the annual Nights of a Thousand Candles. Medic 845 and Beach 1 will be available to all the guests attending this large event. The event opens at 3PM and runs until 10PM.
Expect delays with a large amount of traffic during this time.
The entrance is off of Ocean Highway, Rt. 17.
The event runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday Nights for the Next Three Weeks.

Nights of a Thousand Candles
See Brookgreen Gardens come to life amid the soft glow of more than 5,500 hand-lit candles and countless sparkling lights from 3 - 10 p.m. Walk the paths with a warm cup of cider, hear the sounds of hand bells ringing, carolers singing, and celebrate the season with family and friends.
Now in its 15th year, Nights of a Thousand Candles continues to delight guests with beautiful candle and lighting displays and exceptional entertainment. This year’s most exciting new feature is the 80-foot-tall Holiday Fir tree decorated with 60,000 lights. Located in the arboretum, this beautiful tree will be lighted at 5:45 p.m. every night in ceremonial fashion. Other new highlights include The Peppermint Forest in the Children’s Garden, The Ice Garden in the Lower Left Wing garden, and the addition of a garden by candle light.
