Single Vehicle Rollover at Hog Heaven

This morning, Midway Fire Rescue was dispatched to Ocean Highway in the area of Hog Heaven for a single vehicle accident. Battalion 83 responded and was advised of a single vehicle accident with the vehicle rolling multiple times with the occupant still in the vehicle. Engine 821 arrived on location confirming the report and placed a medical helicopter on stand-by. Engine 821 found the single occupant that had self-extricated from the vehicle but was injured. Engine 821 started patient care until Medic 825 arrived on location. Once the patient was packaged, Medic 825 transported by ground to Grand Strand Trauma Center. Command marked control, clearing all units minutes later.
